Lodging FAQs

Yes, overnight lodging and daycare guests must pass a trial day. Trial days cost a one-time $20 fee.

Mon–Fri: 6am–7pm (Daycare drop-off: 6–8:30am; Lodging drop-off: 8:30am+)
Sat: 8am–1pm & 5:30–6:30pm (Pick-up only)
Sun: 8–12pm
All of our lodging drop-offs are scheduled by appointment times

All lodgers must check out by 1pm or an additional night is charged.
Clients receiving grooms on departure day get extended checkout.

50% deposit for peak/holiday bookings. Deposits become nonrefundable within 7 days of arrival.
Daycare cancellations or repeated no-shows may affect your daycare status. We keep our numbers small so every spot matters.

Standard Rooms
• These rooms do not have outdoor patio access.
• Dogs are let out frequently throughout the day for shorter potty breaks, either in our secure yard or on a relaxing sniff walk.
• Standard rooms are cozy, comfortable, and ideal for dogs who don’t need direct access to the outdoors.
Patio Rooms
• These rooms include a private, individual outdoor patio.
• Dogs receive the same number of let-outs as Standard Room guests, but their potty breaks are longer.
• Weather permitting, dogs can move freely in and out, lounging outside whenever they choose.
• Patios are covered, offering shade, weather protection, and a comfortable spot to enjoy the outdoors year-round (seasonally adjusted).

Yes! Our entire facility is fully climate-controlled with both heating and air conditioning. This ensures every dog stays comfortable, safe and relaxed in all seasons.

Andrea and Tom live right on-site, just steps away from the lodging area—literally! Your dog is never far from attentive, experienced caregivers, even after hours.

Overnight lodging at The Bed & Biscuit does not include daycare. Overnight guests may participate in dedicated lodging-only group play as an optional add-on. These play groups are intentionally designed to be smaller, more consistent, and structured to support comfort, routine, and reduced stress during longer stays.
Lodging dogs primarily play with other lodging dogs, allowing us to maintain predictable groups and a calmer environment. In rare cases of very low enrollment, groups may be adjusted while still following temperament, size, and safety guidelines.

Two-Week Incubation Policy
To protect the health of all our guests, dogs who have visited another boarding facility, daycare, groomer, or dog park are required to observe a 14-day waiting period before entering The Bed & Biscuit.
This policy helps reduce the risk of illness transmission and ensures a safer environment for every dog in our care.

No. Daycare is structured—play, rest, enrichment, repeat.

No. Reservations for daycare should be made. Drop-ins will only be allowed on a case-by-case basis and when daycare isn’t full.

Booking, Policies & General FAQs

Yes! Tours at The Bed & Biscuit are offered by appointment only and are scheduled to ensure we do not disrupt the flow of the day or our guests’ routines.
Tour hours:
• Monday-Friday: 12:00-4:00 PM• Saturday: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Tours are for humans only. We ask that dogs stay home, as our facility is structured and routine-based, and introducing new dogs outside of the proper process can be disruptive. Dogs are meant to visit the facility for their scheduled trial day, which allows them to safely and appropriately get to know the environment.
If you’re unable to make it during our scheduled tour hours, please reach out—we’re happy to discuss options when possible. -
Peak/holiday stays include a $5/night surcharge.

Photos and updates of your pet’s stay are shared through the Gingr App. We love keeping you in the loop! Don’t forget to check out our socials, too!
